Artists Grants Galore!

Who says Boston doesn’t do anything for its’ artist population?! Well, besides me… all the time… Here’s a pleasant change of pace! There are two opportunities that can (and should) be acted on super fast if you are an artist/musician seeking funds for a specific project. As a publication focused on pinpointing artist resources I am super happy that both of these things popped up on my radar today as the clock is ticking. Get on these ASAP!

The Opportunity Fund Grant — Deadline Tomorrow October 31st

“The Opportunity Fund provides grants up to $1,000 to support individual artists, increased access to the arts, and local arts events.”

… and they’ve just opened up another $10,000 to be dispersed to 10 more hard-working recipients! The deadline for the application is TOMORROW by midnight so do not sleep on this opportunity! For members of the Allston-Brighton community, it has been recommended that the “Artist Career Development” Grant is the one to apply for, as the application is simple and the funding is there to grab!

Live Arts Boston Grant Application Workshop — Tonight October 30th 6pm

Thanks to the wonderful people over at The Recording Co. there will be a workshop at their facility for anyone applying for the Live Arts Boston 2019 Grant! All the information you’ll need about the workshop is on the above Facebook event, but if you’re looking for more information regarding the grant, here you go! There are more information sessions to come and this looks like an amazing opportunity as well. If this grant is news to you, I recommend reading up now and starting your application in time to swing over to The Record Co. tonight to be amongst friends and experienced fundraisers alike. After all, they did manage to set up this pretty dope non-profit recording studio:

The Record Co. Studio A. control room

Go make some moves and utilize the resources our city has to offer, because they don’t come around often. Best of luck to all applicants!
